does anyone know where i can get my hands on the series "fist of the north star" on DVD (not the movie or live-action movie)? any region acceptable.

Assuming that you live in the U.S....
You could pretty much get the series anywhere, but a good starting point would be what people suggested in the "Where did you get your Anime" thread.....it's just a few threads below yours..... So long as you get the Manga Video version for the TV series(http://www.manga.com/) you're good to go. As for the OVA series, ADV has licensed it, and it's coming out in a few months.... If you live outside of the U.S....check out the sticky on "International Retailers (Outside USA)," just a few threads above yours.... and welcome to the forums
