Shonen Jump Posts Naruto's Entire Debut Issue Online

To commemorate the ending of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto manga on Monday, Shueisha is offering the manga's debut issue in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine online for free for a limited time. The 43rd Weekly Shonen Jump issue of 1999 will be available in the magazine's Shonen Jump+ app until November 23 at 11:59 p.m. Japan Time.
The issue not only includes the first chapter of Naruto (with cover art and an interior color page spread), but also the last chapter of Rurouni Kenshin. Other manga include Hikaru no Go, Rising Impact, Hoshin Engi, The Prince of Tennis, Shaman King, I"s, Whistle!, Kochikame, and Rookies.
Naruto is ending in Shonen Jump after 15 years of serialization, two main television anime series, a spin-off television series, and a multitude of movies. The film advertised as the final installment, The Last -Naruto the Movie-, will open in Japanese theaters on December 6.
