Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 Switch Game Launches in West in November

Sega of America began streaming a video on Tuesday for the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 game for Nintendo Switch. The video reveals that the game will launch in the Americas on November 5 and in Europe on November 8. The trailer also reveals new 2D retro versions of ten events from the Tokyo 1964 Summer Olympics.
The ten 2D events include:
- 100m
- 10m Platform (Diving)
- 400m Hurdles
- Gymnastics - Vault
- Judo
- Kayak Single (K-1) 1000m
- Long Jump
- Marathon
- Shooting - Trap
- Volleyball
Sega is releasing four games for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Sega will release Tokyo 2020 Olympics: The Official Game video game for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan and Asia on July 24. The game will launch outside of Asia for the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Steam in 2020.
The other two games are Mario & Sonic at Tokyo Olympics Arcade Game (launching in 2020) and Sonic at the Olympic Games for smartphones (launching in 2020).
Sega has developed Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games video games for all the Olympic Games events since 2008 except for 2018.
